YELLOW UMBRELLA FAIRLIGHT POOL

I arrived around midday at Fairlight Tidal Pool to hopefully capture an iconic Manly Ferry in the distance from the pool, when out of the blue this lovely lady walked into frame sporting a beautiful yellow umbrella, just as the ferry sailed into position. A friendly seagull flew in right on queue as well . . . and this is the result.

BONDI ICEBERGS POOL

Taken on Sunday 22nd March 2020, the day that Bondi Beach was closed to the public for the first time since World War II. As I moved to the southern end of the beach, I noticed the lifesavers patrolling on their dune buggies, chasing all the young board riders out of the surf and right off the beach, This was to my advantage, as all the members of the Bondi Icebergs politely followed the local rules of social distancing which happened to make a nice composition, as seen below. Right place, right time.

BALMORAL BUOYS

I was in the water at Balmoral doing my laps one morning, with my camera in its underwater housing around my neck, and noticed this local seagull perched on one of the buoys. So I took a couple of shots above and below the surface, then merged the two together to finish up with this ‘birds eye view’.

Kids building sand castles in Mollymook Rockpool at the southern end of the beach, also known as The Bogie Hole.
